As the leader of Dollar Shave Club, Dubin understands a great shave.

As the leader of Dollar Shave Club, Dubin understands a great shave. Seen here on CBS Sunday Morning in a Father’s Day tribute to the time-honored ritual of getting a close shave.

Shaving. It’s a daily ritual in almost every household that sparks lively conversations about tools and techniques. With a clever sense of humor and a savvy appreciation for the shopping mentality of guys everywhere, Mike Dubin 01C has changed shaving culture with the super popular Dollar Shave Club.  Yesterday, Dubin was featured in CBS Sunday Morning’s “The Art of Shaving is Alive and Well.”

Just watch this video that went viral so fast the company website crashed. Great job, Mike!

Stay tuned for a more in-depth interview with Mike Dubin in EmoryWire.

More about GALA

GALA goals include actively participating in the Emory Alumni Association by planning, promoting, and delivering a variety of social, educational, professional, and networking programs and events. GALA also supports community engagement by supporting the Emory Office of LGBT Life and by facilitating campus outreach to LGBT faculty, students, and friends at Emory. She explains the group’s mission. “Emory Gay and Lesbian Alumni (GALA) maintains and seeks to expand a network of alumni of Emory University in order to organize, serve, and advocate for Emory’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community,” Maher says.
